We have huge good news for you—the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have been launched! This time, the biggest transformation has occurred in this series, marking a historic moment. Additionally, new color variants have been introduced.

Bringing Major Design Changes, New Colors, and AI-Driven Features to Both Pro and Non-Pro Models

For the first time, the iPhone 16 non-Pro version offers a unique unboxing experience, with the back image of the mobile displayed on the front of the box. The iPhone 16 non-Pro series is far more exciting than the Pro series this year. There are five color variants available for both iPhones: Black, Teal, Ultramarine, Pink, and White. The box includes a Type-C to Type-C cable and a SIM ejector tool, exclusive to the Indian version. There are no stickers in the box, as Apple found that very few users utilize them.

The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models have a unique feel, featuring a matte finish texture, dual camera sensors, and a distinct design. Both models have identical dimensions and boast an all-new button on the right side, which serves multiple functions. A single press opens the camera, a quick click captures a photo, and a press-and-hold initiates video recording. Additionally, a light press reveals multiple options with the default set on zoom; the speed of the zoom is determined by how quickly or slowly you move your finger. A double tap lets you switch between camera modes such as depth or exposure.

However, one minor drawback is that if you put a cover on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the button may not function properly. This issue can be resolved by using an Apple-specific cover, which maintains full button functionality. Users also have the option to disable the button in settings or customize its functions. An action button has also been introduced on the left side, adding even more functionality.

Other changes, although minor, contribute significantly to the overall experience. The iPhone 16 measures 5.81 inches in height, 2.82 inches in width, 0.31 inches in depth, and weighs 170 grams. While the display remains the same as the iPhone 15, offering decent brightness and good contrast, it could have benefited from a higher refresh rate. Nonetheless, gaming and video viewing are enjoyable experiences on this device.

The iPhone 16 is equipped with the A18 chipset processor and, for the first time, comes with 8 GB of RAM. This marks a major upgrade from previous models. Another noteworthy addition across both the Pro and non-Pro series is the Fusion Camera, which enhances photo quality by reducing blur and speeding up capture. This camera upgrade is particularly beneficial for vloggers, offering superior audio and video quality with reduced background noise.

Battery performance has also improved, with faster charging capabilities in both models. Although Apple Intelligence has not yet been fully implemented, it will soon be launched in this non-pro series. The devices also support all iOS 18 features, allowing for extensive customization of icons, including rearrangement, resizing, and recoloring.
